Hot Topic (Nintendo High Episode 2)

Episode 2 of Nintendo High is now live! After a fight with some bullies, Mario and Luigi find themselves in the principal’s office! What rabbit hole will they dig themselves into this time?

Episode 1 has been posted on Newgrounds, as well! As such, make sure to follow both @NintendoHigh and @JosephAArts to stay up to date, and hopefully see some behind the scenes content / updates! Our voice actor for Bowser has a Newgrounds account, so make sure to give him a follow too! @satodeku97

Currently, the first episode has amassed 118k+ views with 6.5k likes! Episode 2 has reached 69k views in an even shorter time-span. We are really looking forward to what the future holds for these family-friendly adventures.

Episode 3 is currently in the works, in which I will also be playing Mouser! Stay tuned, peasants!

PukeBomb (Jimmies, Toy Story, Doktor Panic!, One Bad Dummy)

@septicsebi is almost done with his next animation, and boy do we have plenty of Jimmies for you!

n_e_e_t and Seb have both been working diligently on @WesMakowski's Toy Story 2 animation collab. In the mean-time, @nattosumi and @plufmot are also surgically stitching up Doktor Panic!

As mentioned, we have a special cartoon being worked on with a very special voice actor...

Seb and I got to meet up with him this past week in Rhode Island, perhaps this is enough of a hint.

The Open Door Policy (7/8)

Genghis has become increasingly frustrated with how the mass media companies have been censoring him online, trying the Khancel him. He's been trying to speak out and have his voice heard, but the podcast keeps getting placed on the back-burner. Cyclone & Senny are moving and that means HE'S coming, too. Does that mean there's something special to be released soon? I am in fear of my life, dear god, just please help me. I'm not even hiding it anymore.

Make sure to order your Cyclone & Senny meals at your nearby McDonalds! Are you Senny and you selfishly took the 6th chicken nuggie? Or were you Cyclone and you got to suck on your special straw?

Other Castings

In addition to the castings I have mentioned in my previous update...

• I will be voicing Tom Fulp in @BuhlBoy 's Summer Jam Round 2 entry alongside @Oddlem as Boyfriend.

Releases

• If you missed it, @DextaGethood released his Travis Touchdown v. Scott Pilgrim animation, voiced by @VoicesByCorey and myself!

• I believe @Alucard 's Diacrisis 2: Lost in Hell game is putting on some finishing touches and further development to make sure it's the best it can possibly be!
• Sonny Fernandez's Werewolf Hotel is finishing up its final stages!

Goals

I will be using this section of my updates to inform whether or not my previous goals have been met.

Goal Update:

• FAILURE (311 -> 327): Reach 350 followers on Newgrounds
• SUCCESS (537-> 686): Reach 550 followers on Instagram
• PARTIAL SUCCESS: Return to auditioning for roles and be casted for a larger project (Included in the Summer Jam animations and Toonami Collab)
• SUCCESS: Develop a healthy balance of work and social life / exercise (My relationship has been going strong and I have not hidden myself behind my computer as much, likely due to the pause in project deadlines)
• PARTIAL SUCCESS: Grow relationship with new work contacts to ensure involvement in official voice-over for my major company's brand. (I am now editing audio for my company and hope that soon I can lend my voice in their next instructional video. I've also recently been promoted to a Software Engineer 2.)
• FAILED: Make significant progress on ODP Episode 5 (Other projects and social life have taken priority)
• SUCCESS: Resolve my living situation, so I am free from familial boundaries (@cyclonebreitmayer and I are moving out together into a nice apartment with a SALT WATER POOL)
• SUCCESS: Finish Nintendo High Episode 2, publish Nintendo High Episode 1 on Newgrounds

By next month, I hope that I will accomplish the following:

• Make significant progress on ODP Episode 5
• Reach 350 followers on Newgrounds
• Reach 700 followers on Instagram
• Voice in my professional career's position for instructional videos
• Adapt well to my new housing environment and improve my audio quality with a new Neumann microphone

Closing Remarks / Thank You's

I am afraid that voice acting and editing might start getting to be of a nuisance to myself. I am either going 200%, or slugging along at 30%, I can't ever seem to find a happy medium. I am noticing my voice becoming increasingly scratchy / raspy from over-use, so perhaps this break is worthwhile. I must begin auditioning for larger roles, or else I will not be given any opportunities. For anyone in the voice acting community reading this, please make sure you take the steps to be noticed, rather than expect someone else to come knocking on your door. Or, perhaps you can take matters into your own hands and create that which makes you feel fulfilled.

I'd like to thank @VoicesByCorey @JoshDytonVO and especially @LuckyDee for helping with the management of the Newgrounds Voice Acting Collab whilst I am busy with my move.

I'd like to thank @septicsebi for being a great friend, driving us down to Rhode Island to meet a ton of really cool people, especially Mark M. Pimento.
